I am a third year PhD student at ANU, where I work with Victoria McGeer, Frank Jackson, and Daniel Stoljar. My main area of specialization is the philosophy of mind, and more specifically on the nature and functions of consciousness and self-consciousness. A lot of my work sits at the intersection of philosophy and psychology (and sometimes psychiatry). I have written papers on thought insertion in schizophrenia, the functions of consciousness, epiphenomenalism about consciousness, the idea that self-consciousness comes in degrees, and the hard problem of consciousness.

I am currently a visiting student at the University of Cambridge, where I am a member of Darwin College. Presently, I am based at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence. From January 2025, I will move to the Department of History and Philosophy of Science.
