Darryl Mathieson

I started my PhD in Philosophy in July 2022 at ANU, where I work with Victoria McGeer, Frank Jackson, and Daniel Stoljar. My main area of specialization and interest is consciousness. My background is in philosophy and psychology, with a lot of my work sitting at their intersection. I write on a range of topics within the philosophy of mind, psychology, and psychiatry including self-consciousness, schizophrenia, the functions of consciousness, scientifically-motivated arguments for epiphenomenalism about consciousness, the hard problem of consciousness, and inner awareness.
